Contact Lens Review – Pinky Paradise (4 pairs)

Annnnnd the big one I have wanted to write about for a while yet managed to keep putting it off. Pinky Paradise review time! Well, 4 pairs of circle lenses to be exact.

Now, the company themselves are fantastic to deal with. They are cheap, have pretty good offers on from time to time and bloody hell they came to England quick.

The lenses I will be jabbering on about are

EOS Fairy Blue

Princess Pinky Twilight Brown

Venus Eye Wine Red

30Days Comfy Black (My first ever pair from a while back!)

To note; I have naturally light eyes which are quite large anyway, images were taken on an Iphone, and all in natural light. I take a 3.50 and a 3.25 prescription.

Natural eyes. For some reason one is darker than the other on this day.

So, to begin with the Fairy Blue. I have worn these out a couple of times and they are super comfy. They haven’t dried my eyes out and I have worn them in our hot weather (if you can count England as having hot enough weather for that haha). They really enhance the blue and blend pretty nicely with the lightness of my own eyes. They do work on the make your eyes bigger scale too, but not to a great amount that makes it look unnatural. These were brought for a couple of cosplays and will make the face really stand out.

The specs are:

  • dia; 14.5mm
  • bc; 8.8mm
  • lifespan; 1 year

Comfort: 5/5
They are the most comfortable I have worn yet.

Appearance: 5/5
Vivid, fairly natural looking.

Enlarging: 3/5
I don’t think they are great on my eyes for this, but I didn’t buy them for that on the whole so…

Second pair! The Twilight Brown. These were brought for a particular cosplay. They are spot on. They are not brown as they say but a dark yellow colour which really stands out. Again, they are fairly comfortable, but haven’t had chance to wear them on a long time basis yet. They blend ok, but you can see the natural colour quite obviously close up. Obviously with their colour they look less natural, but really would bring a wow factor to a costume. They will definitely suit my use for them.

The specs are:

  •     dia; 14.5mm
  •     bc; 8.6mm
  •     lifespan; 1 year

Comfort: 4/5
No real problems here!

Appearance: 5/5
Stands out a mile. Wonderful for costumes.

Enlarging: 3/5
Again, not really the biggest you can buy from them for this purpose, but doesn’t bother me.

Number three is the Wine Red. Very subtle, slightly pinky, but will work well for the costume I needed them for. I would probably wear these out for clubbing and the like. It again doesn’t look like the most natural eye colour in the world, but hey they are red. I really like the hints of red rather than them being a bright red. Fine on the comfort side, and easy enough to wear.

The specs are:

  •     dia; 14mm
  •     bc; 8.6mm
  •     lifespan; 1 year

Comfort: 4/5
Not quite as comfortable as the others but very easily wearable!

Appearance: 4/5
I thought they would of been a bit less pinky.

Enlarging: 3/5
So-so. I don’t need them much for this purpose though.

The older ones! Comfy Black. Now Charlie brought me these to try out these sort of lenses, and to be honest they are amazingly comfortable. I don’t have many images to show of these close up, but I have various uses of them to show! They really stand out, especially blending with light eyes.

The specs are:

dia; 14.2mm/14.5mm
bc; 8.6mm
lifespan; 1 month

Comfort: 5/5
Very very comfortable. Can wear them for hours.

Appearance: 5/5
Bold, dark and rich.

Enlarging: 4/5
I find these ones out of all of them enlarge my eyes the most.

So there you have it. I will be ordering many more in the future most likely as I really like the speed of the company and the variety of lenses available.
